Lab Practice
These assignments will be started in class on the date they are assigned. Their purpose is to help solidify the knowledge that you gain in class. These assignments are due by the date and time specified and will be turned in using Blackboard.
LP #11: Access: Chapter 6
Due: 15 minutes before class starts on Mon, October 29 (for Section 2);15 minutes before class on Tues, October 30(for Section 4) Purpose: To ensure your familiarity with creating Access using macros, switchboards, pivotTables, and pivotCharts.
Follow the instructions in the chapter and submit your access database with all the information covered up to AC 413. Do not print any sections of the database.
LP #10: Access: Chapter 5
Due: 15 minutes before class starts on Mon, October 22 (for Section 2);15 minutes before class on Tues, October 23(for Section 4) Purpose: To ensure your familiarity with creating Access databases with multi-table forms.
Follow the instructions in the chapter and submit your access database with all the information covered up to AC 347. Do not print any sections of the database.
LP #9: Access: Chapter 4
Due: 15 minutes before class starts on Mon, October 15 (for Section 2);15 minutes before class on Tues, October 16(for Section 4) Purpose: To ensure your familiarity with creating Access reports and forms.
Follow the instructions in the chapter and submit your access database with all the information covered up to AC 282. Do not print any sections of the database.
LP #8: Excel: Chapter 6
Due: 15 minutes before class starts on Mon, October 15 (for Section 2);15 minutes before class on Tues, October 16(for Section 4) Purpose: To ensure your familiarity with creating Excel templates and working with multiple worksheets and workbooks.
Follow the instructions in the chapter and submit your excel workbook with all the information covered up to 491. Do not print any sections of the workbook(so don't print on EX 476). You will be turning in the five workbooks and one template to the appropriate Lab Practice folder.
LP #7: Excel: Chapter 5
Due: 15 minutes before class starts on Mon, October 1 (for Section 2);15 minutes before class on Tues, October 2 (for Section 4) Purpose: To ensure your familiarity with creating Excel sorts and queries in charts and worksheets
Follow the instructions in the chapter and submit your excel workbook with all the information covered up to EX 398. You will be turning in two files, one with the excel workbook created by EX 394 and the other with the CVS file format created by EX 398.
LP #6: Excel: Chapter 4
Due: 15 minutes before class starts on Mon, Sept 24 (for Section 2);15 minutes before class on Tues, Sept 25 (for Section 4) Purpose: To ensure your familiarity with creating Excel PMT & PV functions in charts and worksheets
Follow the instructions in the chapter and submit your excel workbook with all the information covered up to EX 321. Do not print any sections of the workbook (so skip Ex 307 to EX 316).
